Howard David Wiseman

Howard David Wiseman passed away peacefully at his home on December 6, 2023 in Vernal, Utah at the age of 86. He was born on October 11, 1937 to Howard Leonard and Jessie (Totten) Wiseman. Howard married the love of his life, Beverly Bird on May 2, 1970. Howard and Bev loved spending time in the mountains, they also loved going to Arizona every winter, where they enjoyed the warm weather. Howard made friends wherever he went. Many of whom were friends for life. Howard served in the Army as a Motor Sergeant as well as in the Utah National Guard for many years. Howard was very active in the Masons, Shriners, and served as Exalted Ruler of the Elks Lodge. He enjoyed the opportunity to serve and help others. Howard is survived by his wife; Beverly Louise Bird, children; Julie Dixon, Laura (Gary) Counsellor, Joe (Stacy) Wiseman, Christy (Dan) Merrell, Tracy (Dale) Harrison, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and sister; Lynnette McFarland. He is preceded in death by his parents, Howard Leonard and Jessie Wiseman; son, Kirk Leonard Wiseman; and sister, Leonra King. Graveside services for Howard will be held Friday December 8, 2023, at 1:00pm at the Vernal Memorial Park with Military Honors provided by American Legion Post 11. Services under the direction of the Philips Ashley Valley Funeral Home.
