Ila Case Perry passed away on March 6, 2024 at Intermountain Hospital in Murray, Utah at the age of 81. She suffered a bowel obstruction that went septic, a long 23 day hospital stay. Ila was born on April 20, 1942 to Louise Allen Case and Edmund Case in Fort Duchesne, Utah. Ila married Evan Doyle Perry on March 6, 1972 in Vernal, Utah. Ila enjoyed going to Utah Jazz games, playing card games, and Yahtzee. She also loved going to the mountains even just for a ride but she also loved camping, hunting, and fishing. We also would go and get wood. She also enjoyed doing puzzles, crosswords, and word searches. She loved her music and went to many many concerts. She was a family person so we always had get togethers and she always was ready to visit family and friends. Always would run into friends in the stores and would just talk and talk. Her favorite trip after Grandpa died was the surprise trip to Mount Rushmore. She was loved by so many and she loved so many unconditionally. She got her GED. She worked in many places in the community. Including EMT, Dietary Specialist, and she campaigned for JFK. She is survived by her 4 children, Doug Oliver (Karen); Vince Oliver (Heidi); Adeline Hicks (Bryan); Mechelle Wilcock (Cyle Richens). Her siblings are Carol Nuesmeyer; Jeanie Mitchell (Ron); Doug Case (Shanna); Larry Case (Tracey). 14 Grandchildren: Steven, Eric, Mechelle, Kami, Tonya (Caregiver/Favorite), Coy, Taneesha, Casetin, Melynda, Jesse, April, Brittany, Breanna, and Seth. She had 16 Great Grandchildren. Preceded in death by the love of her life, Evan Doyle Perry; both of her parents; and two sisters, Bonnie Scott and Paula Case. And many other family members and friends. Funeral services for Ila will be held Saturday, March 9, 2024 at 11:00am at the Phillips Ashley Valley Funeral Home. Visitation for family and friends will be held from 9:00am ~ 10:45am all at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Rock Point Cemetery, under the direction of the Phillips Ashley Valley Funeral Home.
