Isabelle Ann Allen

Isabelle "Ann" Allen of Wheatland Wyoming, formerly of Vernal passed away surrounded by her husband and sons on May 13,2024. Ann was born February 1, 1959 to Cloyd and Margie Hughes. After she was born they moved back to the Salt Lake Valley, and when she was a senior in high school, they moved back to Vernal where she graduated from Uintah High School. Ann married David Allen, the love of her life on March 25, 1978. They had 3 sons Danny (Trace), Casey and Garrett (Loni). Soon after their marriage and Ann learned about the restored gospel of Jesus Christ, and joined The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on December 23, 1989. One year later on the anniversary of her baptism Ann and David with their children were sealed for Time and All Eternity in the Salt Lake City Temple. Ann spent most of her young life raising her family, always teaching, helping and encouraging them. After seeing her sons raised and out on their own, Ann and David moved to Wheatland Wyoming. She always had a warm smile and hug for family and friends. Once you knew her you couldn't help but call her a friend. She was an example of grace, determination and kindness. She adored her grandchildren and was their biggest fan in all they did. Heavenly Father called a mighty fine lady home on May 13,2024. Anno is survived by her husband David Allen, sons Dan (Tracie) Allen, Casey Allen, Garrett (Loni) Allen and 11 grandchildren. Funeral services for Isabelle Ann Allen will be held Saturday, June 1, 2024, at 2:00 PM at the Maeser 3rd Ward LDS Chapel (2575 North 1500 West). A visitation for family and friends will be held Friday evening from 6-8PM at the Phillips Ashley Valley Funeral Home and Saturday 12:45-1:45PM at the Church. Interment will be in the Rockpoint Cemetery under the direction of the Phillips Ashley Valley Funeral Home.
