Ivan Kirk Batty

Ivan Kirk Batty, age 30, passed away on March 11, 2025. Kirk was born on February 18, 1995, to Tammie and Randy Batty in Vernal, UT. He married Hannah Adelman on December 6, 2016, in Vernal, UT. Kirk was known for his charismatic personality and left an impression on everyone he met. Growing up, he loved hunting, fishing, and spending time at the family cabin on Diamond Mountain. As he got older, he learned how to weld and enjoyed tinkering with anything. In 2023, he started working as an apprentice electrician at BHI and was attending school through UBTech to become an electrician. Above all, he loved spending time with his children and family. Kirk is survived by the love of his life and wife, Hannah Batty; children, Nico, August, Oakley, and Lilliahna; father, Randy Batty; brother, Bud (Mandi) Batty; nieces, Bonnie and Davie; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and in-laws. He is preceded in death by his mother, Tammie Batty; brother, Dave Batty; and sister, Cammie Batty. Services will be held on Saturday, March 22, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Ashley 1st Ward Chapel, 3040 N Vernal Ave, Vernal, UT. A visitation for family and friends will be held at the chapel prior to the services from 9:00 to 10:45 a.m.
