Jace Skyler Bailey

November 7, 1995 — January 19, 2020

Our loving father, husband, son, brother, uncle, grandson and friend Jace Skyler Bailey was born November 7, 1995 to Chance Bailey and Sherri Temples. Skyler grew up with the nickname Sky Bear, that his family called him. He is known to others by his middle name Skyler. Skyler had a sweet yet shy personality. He was always willing to help anyone in need. He had a kind heart and a cute smile. Skyler loved the great outdoors. He enjoyed riding his dirt bike and four-wheelers, fishing, hiking, arrowhead and rock hunting. He married the love of his life Rashelle in a beautiful outdoor ceremony. They continued the outdoor activities together as a family. Skyler worked for the DNR at Steinaker State Park, where his family could regularly visit him, and enjoy their time together at the park. Later he took a job that he called his professional career, where he decided to use his first name Jace. He worked at Savage, now called Delsco North Western as a Derrick Hand. Skyler was truly blessed with a beautiful wife and two little amazing girls who are the apple of daddys eyes; and what beautiful eyes he had. Skyler was taken home to his Heavenly Father on January 19, 2020 after a fatal car accident. He will truly be missed. He is loved by all. He is holding his baby boy in his arms waiting to send him to Earth to the loving arms of his wife. He is survived by his wife Rashelle Bailey; daughters Nezra Reese Roach and Amiya Pru Bailey; father Chance (Janis) Bailey; mother Sherri Temples, brothers and sisters: Derek Nielson, Brenten Bailey, Donovan Johnson, Tyler Holmes, Kaden Holmes, Ashlee Holmes Hanberg, Mitch Hadlock, and Courtney Hadlock; Grandparents: Bill and Nan Jan Bailey, Von Edwards, Rex and Jane Thompson, David and Vickie Temples, Marsha and Larry Morris; mother and fathers-in-law: Randy and Shellette Pummell, Vincent Squier. Skyler is preceded in death by his uncle Tyrell Jackson. Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 25, 2020 at 11am at the First Baptist Church (2100 West Highway 40). A visitation for family and friends will be held Friday evening from 6-9pm at the Phillips Ashley Valley Funeral Home and Saturday 9:45-10:45am at the Church. Cremation will follow with interment in the Dryfork Cemetery.
