John (JACK) Allen Foley 71, a truck driver and resident of LaPoint UT, passed away unexpectedly on October 14, 2020, in a hospital in Provo, UT. He went into cardiac arrest in recovery from an intestinal blockage surgery and couldn’t be saved. He was born in Red Bluff, CA, Aug 1949 to his parents, Herbert Allen Foley and Rosemarie Irene Ball. Jack grew up in Willows, Corning, and Red Bluff, CA, he graduated from Mercy High School, Red Bluff, CA Jun 7, 1968. He married Sandy Redding of Vernal, UT on Oct 16, 1994. He is survived by his wife Sandy Foley of LaPoint UT, his daughters, Marian Knox of CA, Michelle Hall of CA, Laura Tiedeman of NV, and son Roger Foley of LaPoint, UT. He was proceeded in death by his parents, a daughter Misti Foley of LaPoint UT, and a great grandson, Carsen of Red Bluff CA. He is survived by sisters Mary Foley Lisenbery of MX, Teresa Foley Moreno of CA, Valerie Kirch of TN, Laurie Foley of NC, and brother James Worden of CA. He has 6 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Jack took to riding motorcycles at a young age and grew into a full-blown Harley Davidson lover, owning several throughout his lifetime. He currently owned 2 that he would have taken with him if there was a way. He belonged to several different motorcycle riding groups. Jack was a spiritual man, but did not practice any specific religion. He had a love for small ‘yapping” terrier type dogs, never went anywhere without one in his truck. Also, Jack was extremely fond of Dodge trucks, owning several. A memorial service will be held at LaPoint Cemetery, 7300 N Paradise Park Rd, Friday, October 23 at 2:00 pm. Family and friends can meet at the Phillips Ashley Valley Funeral Home at 1:30pm and follow to the cemetery.
