James Thomas Maynard Sr

James Thomas Maynard Sr. age 54, of Vernal passed away on September 14, 2016 in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was born on July 23, 1962 to Thomas Glenn Maynard and Sharon R. Hall in Superior, Wisconsin. He married Deborah Ann Elkins on January 27, 1995 in Provo, Utah.James was owner of Alternative Surface. He served in the Air Force and loved to play the drums.He is survived by his wife Deborah Ann Elkins of 21 years, three sons and two daughters: Dottie (Chet) Stubbs, Rick (Rochelle) Fowler, James T. Maynard II, Rick (Melissa) Maynard, and Angelique Peterson; grandchildren: Dave (Amanda) Hall, Jacob Stubbs, Lakeisha Stubbs, Alec Stubbs, Samantha Stubbs, Cierra Stubbs, Max Stubbs, Amber Stubbs, Isaac Stubbs, Makinsie Fowler, Dakota Fowler, Nash Fowler, Kyle Fowler, Jayden Stone, Tayea Stone, Rolland Stone, Brynn McKinney, Shelby Maynard, and Oaklee Maynard; parents Thomas Glenn Maynard and Sharon R. Hall; brother David Maynard and sister Sue (Rick) St. Pierre.James is preceded in death by grandson, Gage Maynard and Grannie Maynard.A memorial open house for James Thomas Maynard Sr., age 54, of Vernal, owner of Alternative Surface, will be held Wednesday, September 21, 2016 from 5-8P.M at the Ashley Valley Funeral Home.
