Jim Marsh

James Edward Marsh, age 71, passed away in Vernal, Utah on February 1, 2017. Jim was born April 4, 1945 in Searcy, Arkansas to Ethel Mae McQuay and James Freddy Marsh. Jim married Reva Young on June 13, 1972 in Lebanon, Pennsylvania.Jim served 12 years in the United States Army. He served two tours to Vietnam and two in Korea. He was a Jump Master and a Drill Sargent in Fort Benning, Georgia. He was a highly decorated Army Ranger. He loved camping, fishing, and riding his Harley. His favorite thing was spending time with his family.Jim is survived by is wife of 44 years, children: Lori Marsh Restoff, Tammy Marsh, James (Carrie) Marsh and Amanda (Neil) Farrer; 13 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.Graveside services were held Monday, February 6, 2017 at 11AM at the Vernal Memorial Park with Military Honors by American Legion Post 11 and the Utah National Guard.
