Judy Branom passed away on May 6, 2024, at the age of 83. Judy was born July 26, 1940, to Opal and David DeWolf in Lamar, Colorado. Judy married John Branom on October 22, 1956, in Raton, New Mexico. Judy enjoyed reading, the outdoors, traveling, cocktail hour with her friends, and sports (with her favorite being football). In her younger years she was found working on the family farm driving tractors and raising livestock. She then became a hair stylist and co-owned John and Judy's Clip and Curl. Later she was a Pawn Broker owning her own Pawn Shop in Riverton, Wyoming until she retired. After retirement she and John enjoyed their time in Apache Junction, Arizona during the winter months and Vernal, Utah during the summer. She is survived by her daughter Kim (Hal) Jackson; son Kirk (Shelly) Branom; granddaughters Kortni (Mark) Huber; Kylie Branom; Shara (Jason) Ivie; grandsons Keyan (Courtney) Branom; Blake Gross; great grandchildren KC, Riggs, Brodi, Malorie, Jara, Tyson, and Serenity along with many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband John; mother Opal; father David; brother Don; sister Wanda, and sister-in-law Nikki. A graveside service will take place at the Mineral County Cemetery in Creede, Colorado at a later date.
