Julena McDonald
February 12, 1927 — October 4, 2015
Julena J. McDonald passed away at the age of 88 at her home in Vernal, Utah on October 10, 2015. She was born on February 12, 1927 to Bessie Smith and Fred L Sallee in Sterling, Oklahoma. Julena was a member of the First Baptist Church in Vernal, Utah for 52 years.
Julena is survived by her four children: Julena (Bob) Pope, Vernal, Utah, Tim (Marla) McDonald, St. George, Utah, Rannie McDonald, Vernal, Utah, and Kim (Brenda) McDonald, Vernal, Utah; 12 Grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her son, Ray McDonald.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 10, 2015 at 11AM at the First Baptist Church (2100 West Hwy 40). A viewing will be held Saturday morning 9:45 ~ 10:45AM at the church. Interment will be in the Vernal Memorial Park under the direction of the Ashley Valley Funeral Home.
