On August 17, 2026, surrounded by her loving family, Julie Lynn Morgan passed through the veil into the arms of her loving Heavenly Father and Savior Jesus Christ.
On a spring day, May 2, 1956, Julie was born in Clear Creek Utah to her parents Carol Marie Williamson and Glen K Hansen Sr. Julie was the third child of nine children. Julie grew up in Orem, Utah. Her family later moved to Vernal Utah where she attended Uintah High School. Julie married Jess Morgan and from that union she had two sons Travis Morgan and Ryan Morgan. She had four beautiful grandchildren, Kylee, Braden, Evie and Lexi. Julie later divorced Jess and then married Bernie Oberhansly. They later divorced. Julie was a member of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She had an unwavering testimony of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Julie found joy in life's simple pleasures. She loved to be in the outdoors. She enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping. She loved to crochet and write poetry. She had a love for her dog, Chester and all god's creatures, but especially butterflies.
Above all, she treasured her children, grandchildren, and family. Julie had a beautiful spirit. She was humble, very kind and compassionate and therefore made many friends. Julie will be remembered for her deep devotion to God and her savior Jesus Christ and her family.
Julie is survived by her children, Travis Morgan and wife Melissa. Ryan Morgan and wife Christina. Her precious grandchildren, Kylee, Braden, Evie, and Lexi. Her siblings Glen K. Hansen Jr., Jill Workman, Kalene Gamble and Wayne Hansen. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews who loved her dearly and devoted friend Bernie Obhansly.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Carol Marie, Williamson and Glen K Hansen Sr. Her siblings, Willis Anderson, Sandra Westwood, Susan Smuin, and David Williamson. Brother-in-law Ronnie Boyd Workman. Nephews, J.R. Jackson and Bucky Westwood. Niece Marcy Roper and great niece Karleigh Martin.
Her Children and family would like to express their gratitude to the staff at the Uintah Care center who cared for Julie with such kindness and compassion.
Funeral Service for Julie will be held Friday, August 21, 2026,at 11:00am at Phillips Ashley Valley Funeral Home (410 North 800 West). Visitation for family and friends will be from 9:45am ~ 10:45am all at the funeral home.
