Karin Helene Hollebeke passed away on 8 February 2026 at the age of 76. Karin was born on 5 June 1949 to Edeltraud and Klempner Stephani in Wolfsburg, Germany. Karin married Leo Wayne Hollebeke, Jr on 26 August 1966 in El Paso, Tx. Karin enjoyed the out of doors and followed Wayne in his activities of hunting, fishing, riding horses and the old west style of living. She immigrated to the United States in 1962 and lived in Pennsylvania. In 1965, Karin along with her parents to El Paso, Tx. She met Wayne at the Hollebeke Riding Stables. During this time, Karin enjoyed painting the American old west. She belonged to many art organizations and chaired many of those organizations. Karin studied advertising and illustrative design. With her desire for painting western art, her art has been portrayed in many art magazines and galleries/museums. Karin was a chair member of the Dinosaur Nature Association and assisted with the development of the Jensen Fire Department.
Karin is proceeded in death by her parents and husband Wayne Hollebeke, Jr. She is survived by her sister Evelyn Malkowski (Germany), daughter Jacqueline White (Andy) of Mexico, Missouri and son Rick Hollebeke of Lawton, Oklahoma, four grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Visitation for Karin Hollebeke will be Saturday, February 14, 2026 from 6:00-8:00pm at the mortuary (410 North 800 W).
