Katy Loncar

Katy Elizabeth Evans Loncar passed away on October 19, 2014 surrounded by her family. Katy was born on March 28, 1980 in Vernal, Utah to Cindy Hughes and Robert Evans. Katy married Paul Loncar on June 7, 2013 in the Ashley National Forest.

Katy was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Katy was a very selfless person. Even through her 3 year cancer battle she always thought about her family first. She adored her nieces, nephews, and step kids. She loved being around them every chance she could. She was referred to them as "Auntie KT" and was the "favorite auntie". She was her sisters or as they say "seesers" Hero! Her and Paul her "Bubbs" favorite thing to do was go fishing. Every chance they got they were fishing and spending time with family. She loved her job at Maurices and let us know the "proper" way to dress. She is our fashion guru. She loved being around her best friends who she loved. Katy you will forever be in our hearts - "Pinky Promise"

Katy is survived by her husband, Paul R. Loncar; step-children: Bryce, Hailey, McKayla and McKenzy Loncar; parents: Robert E. and Cindy S. Evans; parents-in-law: Robert P. and Carla R. Loncar; sisters: Melissa Evans, Jennifer (Ryan) Lopez, Amy (Ryan) Cook; brother-in-law, Jeremy (Staci) Loncar; grandmothers-in-law: Janet Cameron and Carolina Loncar; nieces and nephews: Emalee, Jayden, and Branson Turner; Rylee and Natayo Lopez; Corben Evans; Adalade, Ella and Zowee Cook; Morgan, Cydney, Savanna and Chiann; special friends: Carlos Anchondo, Corie and Aaron Anderson, Veronica and Isaac Bird and many loving aunts, uncles and cousins.

Katy is preceded in death by her grandparents: Tex and Norma Evans, Cloyd N. and Margie A. Hughes; grandfathers-in-law: Robert Paul Loncar and Carl Boyd.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at 11AM at the Davis 4th Ward LDS Chapel (3990 South 1500 East). Friends and family may call Tuesday evening from 6~8PM at the Ashley Valley Funeral Home (410 North 800 West) and Wednesday 9:45~10:45AM at the chapel prior to the funeral service.
