LaDonna Smuin

LaDonna (Slaugh) Smuin went home to her Loving Heavenly Father on June 20, 2015, in the Uintah Care Center.

Ladonna was born on Oct, 8, 1935 to Lyle and Ruby Slaugh. Married the Love of her life and best friend Larry Smuin on Oct. 8, 1952. Later seal in the Salt Lake City temple on may 11, 1953. Mom enjoyed hunting, camping fishing.  Spending time with her family working in her yard. She served in many callings in the LDS Church.

LaDonna is survived by her brother Tim (JaJenne) Slaugh; Daughters Jolene (Bruce) Kendall, Leann (Dwayne) Holmes, and DeAnn (David) Martin, all of Vernal; son Bryce (Vivian) Smuin of Las Vagas.

She is preceded in death by her parents Lyle and Ruby Slaugh; brothers Ted Slaugh, Farell Slaugh and Yoma Whiting; Grandchildren Shauna Martin, Chad Kendell and Justin Holmes.

She is greatly loved and is going to be very missed.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday, June 23, 2015 at 11AM at the Uintah Ward Chapel. A viewing was held Monday evening from 6-8PM at the Ashley Valley Funeral Home and Tuesday one hour prior at the chapel. Interment was in the Vernal Memorial Park under the direction of the Ashley Valley Funeral Home.
