Larry Bartlett

Larry Owen Bartlett, son of Floyd and Darlene Bartlett, peacefully passed on during his sleep at his home in Maeser, Utah on Feb 15, 2014. He was born on March 6th, 1968 and was 45 years old at the time of his passing. Larry was born to the family of one brother Steven Bartlett (Sheryl) of Grantsville, Utah, sister Keri Bullock (Scott) of Woodinville, Washington, when his family lived in Spanish Fork, Utah. He lived in Gooding and Burley, Idaho in his childhood days, moving to Monroe and Beaver, Utah where he started to school. His family later moved to Plain City then Vernal, Utah where he has lived the past 33 years.

Larry married his high school sweetheart, Nancy Allen. They were blessed with four wonderful children and later divorced. He is survived by his parents, brother and sister: Steven Bartlett (Sheryl) of Grantsville, Utah, sister Keri Bullock (Scott) of Woodinville, Washington, and four children: Keeley Woody (Czyz) and Skyler Bartlett (Haylee) of Vernal, Jadyn and Brindy Bartlett of Cedar View, Utah. He has one grandson, Cruzdyn Woody, and nine nieces and nephews. He is recently divorced from Tharesa King of Vernal, Utah.

Larry excelled in football and track at Uintah High School. He was passionate about snowmobiling, 4-wheeling, trapping and hunting. He loved the time he spent in the mountains, especially with his family. He worked hard at different jobs in the area primarily related to the energy industry. He was attending UBATC Vernal Campus at the time of his death. He was an outgoing person, well-liked by his friends and associates.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 20, 2014 at 11 AM at the Maeser 1st Ward Chapel (850 West 100 North). A viewing will be held Wednesday evening from 6~8PM at the Ashley Valley Funeral (410 North 800 West) and Thursday 9:45~10:45AM at the church prior to the funeral services. Interment will be in the Maeser Fairview Cemetery under the direction of the Ashley Valley Funeral Home.
