Lois Dimick

Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister returned to her heavenly father on April 20, 2012 in Vernal, Utah. She was born on February 22, 1936 in Bear River, Colorado to Margureite Kishell and Herman Francis McFarlane.

Lois married George (Jerry) Gerald Dimick on February 24, 1956 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Vernal Utah Temple.

Lois was known by many as "Mama Lois." She worked in the medical field in Vernal, Utah for many years. She enjoyed spending her winter months in Yuma, Arizona.

Lois is survived by her husband George (Jerry) Dimick, her children, Scott (Judy) Dimick of Vernal, Gary (Terri) Dimick of Vernal, Dean (Lisa) Dimick of Craig, CO; 14 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and her sister, Beverly Petersen of Salt Lake City, Utah

Funeral Services were conducted Wednesday, April 25, 2012 at 11am at the Vernal 8th Ward Chapel (1499 West Highway 40, Vernal, Utah). A viewing was held Tuesday evening 6~8pm at the Ashley Valley Funeral Home (410 North 800 West Vernal, Utah) and one hour prior to services at the Church. Interment was in the Vernal Memorial Park.
