Lorene Herrmann

Lorene "Renie" Cook passed away on Monday, September 15, 2025, at the age of 68 with her family by her side. Renie was born on April 6, 1957 to Shirley Alexander and Glen Cook in Vernal, Utah.

She was a strong willed, hardworking, beautiful woman. She enjoyed gardening, antiquing, rescuing animals, and was a local history enthusiast.

She is survived by 2 daughters; Shawna Lee Riechman and Shay Amber Tobias. 6 grandchildren; Maqenzie Riechman, Kelsey Handricks, Kaiden Riechman, Haylee Riechman, Paisley Tobias and Corbin Tobias. 1 great granddaughter; Nevaeh Magleby and many loving animals.

She is preceded in death by Glen Cook, Carolyn Cook, friends and many loving animals.

Memorial Service for Renie will be held Saturday, September 20, 2025 at 1:00pm, with a visitation starting at 12:00pm until the time of services, all at the Phillips Ashley Valley Funeral Home.
