Martha 'Marty' Kristine (Hadley) Coonradt

Marty Kristine Coonradt died peacefully on January 6, 2023. She was born in Idaho Falls, Idaho to Ervin and Veila Hadley on May 20, 1948. She was the last of six children. She came to Vernal in 1980 and has been here ever since. Marty worked at Bud's Steakhouse and Bar for 11 years, Weston Lamplighter for almost 18 years, and for the River Runners for the last nine years. Marty was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Marty enjoyed her crafts. She embroidered a baby blanket for each of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mother loved Bingo at the Elks Lodge and at the Golden Age Center with her best friend Alta. She loved getting dressed up pretty to go listen to her favorite band on Friday nights. She loved her dog Dezi very much. She is survived by her five children: Tracy Hadley, Troy Bragg, Loma (Brad) Ling, Jim (Ruthie) Richardson, and Jeff Harting; sisters Brenda Haley and Linda (Larry) Mayes; brother Harold Hadley; 11 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren; best friends Alta Earley and Kay Wagner. Marty is preceded in death by her parents, one brother, one sister, and a husband. Our mother had a lot of friends. Far too many to mention and she met new friends everywhere she went. Marty will be missed by all that knew her. The family would like to thank everyone that helped us through this hard time saying goodbye to our mother. You will be missed Miss Marty. Funeral services will be held Friday, January 13, 2023, at 11:00AM at the Phillips Ashley Valley Funeral Home. A visitation for family and friends will be held Friday 9:45-10:45AM at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Rockpoint Cemetery.
