Marty Carruth Justice

Marty Carruth Justice, age 51, passed away on July 8, 2022, in Vernal, Utah. He was born on August 18, 1970, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Allen Weston Justice and Tamria Ilene Clark.

Marty spent the first three years of his life in Sandy, Utah, before the family moved to Vernal in June of 1973. During part of his teen years he lived in Orem, Utah, and he briefly lived in Oregon as well, but Vernal remained his home for most of his life.

Marty was a high school graduate and spent his working years as a heavy equipment operator and mechanic, including time with J&L Oilfield. He was proud of his trade and the hard, honest work it required.

His greatest joy was his family — his children, his grandchildren, and the time he spent with all of them. He loved arrowhead hunting, hiking, and the outdoors.

Marty is survived by his children: Tiffany Aubrey Justice-Beasley; Aunesty Shyanne Justice Tracy (husband Paiten); and Jayden Marty Justice (Hannah). He is also survived by his grandchildren: Aubrey, Zachary, Naomi, Wrenlee, and Desirae.

He is survived as well by his siblings: Aundrea Justice Warby (Steve), Jimmy Weston Justice (Julie Jorgensen), and Roxanne Justice Pummell (Rick). Marty was the baby of the family.

Marty was preceded in death by his father, Allen; his brother, "Jerry Allen" Justice; his son, Dakota Marty Fay; and by Shancey Rae Warby and Jeremiah Justice. His grandparents were Weston and Ruby Penfold Justice, and James S. and Vida Carruth Clark.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, November 7, 2026 from 5-8PM at the Vernal Elks Lodge.
