Mary Lucille Allen

Mary Lucille Allen, 80, of Vernal, Utah, passed away peacefully on April 12, 2026, due to natural causes. She was born on February 18, 1946, in Stockton, California, to Robert and Lucille Payne. On May 5, 1979, Mary married her beloved husband, William Allen, in Reno, Nevada, building a life filled with love and devotion.

Mary was a diligent bookkeeper, well-respected in the accounting industry, but her true passion lay in her family. She found great joy serving in the Vernal, Utah Temple and cherishing moments with her family and grandchildren.

Mary is survived by her devoted husband, William R. Allen; her children, Christina Church, Douglas Allen, Sarah Allen, and Kevin Allen. She is preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 17, 2026, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Maeser 4th Ward Chapel, located at 2575 North 1500 West at 2:00PM. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 12:45-1:45PM. Interment will take place at the Rockpoint Cemetery.
