Mary L Jakab

Mary was the first baby born in the new Coalville Utah hospital on February 27, 1940 to Robert and Crystal Lanier. She was the youngest of 11 children. Mary met and Married Jay Milligan and together they had three children. Jacki, Scott and Brenda. Mary was always carefree and curious about the world around her. She was always on the move (in her younger years). She would get into situations that may have been dangerous but to her it was just an adventure. After marrying Frank Jakob the two settled in Vernal, Utah. After Frank's passing, Mary moved into a care facility. Family visited her there and when it was time for the family to leave, Mary always said she wanted to go home, meaning Salt Lake City, where she grew up. January 30, 2021 Mary finally got to go "home" to be reunited with her 7 brothers, 2 sisters and parents. She is survived by her brother, Donald Lanier and her daughter's Jackie and Brenda. Her son, Scott preceded her in death. No services will be held at this time.
