LaNette Owens

Mary LaNette Liddell Owens passed away on September 30, 2025, at the age of 68. LaNette was born on October 18, 1956, to Ronald and Carol Liddell in Duchesne, UT. LaNette married Florin Ned Owens on December 1, 1978, in Provo, UT.

LaNette most loved and enjoyed her family and friends. She was kind and loving to everyone who knew her. She loved reading, good music and Side X Side rides in the mountains, especially in the fall to see the leaves. LaNette was the perfect description of unselfishness. To know her was to love her. She was kind and loving to everyone. The biggest joys of her life were her children and grandchildren.

LaNette is survived by her mother Carol Liddell (Vernal) her Husband of 47 years, Florin Ned (Vernal), Son, Logan Ned Owens (Whitney) (Cedar City), Daughter, Holly Janelle Tomlinson (Daniel) (Neola), Grandchildren Jackson, Zooey, Oliver, Zayden, Owen, Alexi, Brothers Michael Liddell (Carla) (hot Springs, AR), Marcus Liddell (Connie) (Mountain Home), Jody Liddell (Jean)(Roosevelt) and Roy Liddell (Vernal).

She is proceeded in death by her Father Ronald J. Liddell, brother Ray Shaun Liddell, and grandson Kyson James Owens.

Funeral services for LaNette will be held, Monday, October 6th at 11:00am at the Phillips Ashley Valley Funeral Home. Visitation for family and friends will be held that morning from 9:00am ~ 10:45am all at the funeral home. Interment in the Maeser Fairview Cemetery.
