Mary Lou (Wilson) Smith

Mary Lou Smith age, 80 of Roosevelt, passed away at the Sr. Villa March 15, 2021. She was born to James H. & Olive May Wilson in Duchesne Utah July 24th, 1940. She married Daryl (Corky) Egbert Smith July 26, 1958, they were sealed in the Vernal, Utah Temple July 26th, 2018. She was the youngest of 8 children. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She grew up and lived her life in Duchesne where she had many friends, she loved going to the senior center and playing bingo every week. She was moved to the Sr. Villa in Roosevelt Utah two years ago due to failing health reasons. Mary Lou loved to crochet beautiful things, blankets, table covers, baby doll dresses. She had knack for remembering everyone's birthday and anniversaries even though she had such a large family. She was proceeded in death by her parents James & Olive Wilson, husband Daryl Smith, sister Elva Ivie, brother Ross Wilson, brother Carl Wilson, brother Jay Wilson, sister Lorna Thompson. She is survived by her 2 sisters Pearl McKowen & Lori Harper. She had many nieces & nephews that she loved so dearly as well as her cats. We would like to send a special thank you to the Sr. Villa as well as family and friends for all the time they spent taking care of Mary Lou, you know who you are and your appreciated.
