Max Benjamin Stubbs

Max Benjamin Stubbs passed away on May 21, 2021 at the age of 19. Max was born on February 19, 2002 to Shylow and Robert Barlow in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was later adopted by Chet and Dottie Stubbs and was raised in Jensen, Utah. Max loved spending time with family, especially his nieces and nephews. He was never without a knife and basic survival gear. He was the man to go to if you ever needed tips for the outdoors. Max was very fun loving and goofy. He had a huge heart and would be there for anyone who needed him. Max is survived by his father Chet Stubbs, grandparents Daniel R. and Mary Stubbs, Deborah Maynard, and Jane Kelso; great-grandparents David and Rhea Coombs; siblings: David (Amanda), Kaytia, Jacob (Naya), Alec, Lakeisha, Samantha, Cierra (Carter), Amber, Isaac, Brandy and Blaze; aunt Tasia (Brandon) Roth, uncles: Rick (Melissa) Maynard, Rick Fowler; he is also survived by Robert Barlow, 7 nieces and nephews, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and longtime family friends. Max is preceded in death by his mother Dottie K. Stubbs, grandfather James T. Maynard, uncle Kelly E. Stubbs, cousins Jessica A. Stubbs and Natalie Madsen; and best friend Conner Wall. A memorial service will be held Friday June 11, 2021 at 3:00p.m. at the Phillips Ashley Valley Funeral Home (410 N 800 W). A visitation will be held Friday 2:00-3:00p.m. at the mortuary.
