Max Tanner passed away on April 28, 2020. He was born in Roosevelt, UT to David Tanner and Romania (Pierce) Tanner. Max grew up in Myton on the family farm. Even with the hard work Max loved the farm, caring for the animals, especially horses. He was accomplished welder and known for his exceptional work ethic. He is member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. The family would like to thank Beth Broko for her devotion and love for Max. For the many hours of companionship and happiness she brought into his life. Max was married to Thelma Virgina Jenkins (later divorced) and from this union there were 4 Children. Gary, Valarie, Rory, and Treasa. He is survived by his son Rory, daughter Valarie, grandsons Deven, Brandon, and sister Mildred Betts. Also many nieces, nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, his son Gary, and daughter Treasa, granddaughter Terry and grandson, Gary. Brothers Blaine, and Gale (Pete), sisters Jackie, and Lorraine Allred. Graveside services will be held Thursday, April 30, 2020, 12Noon at the Roosevelt Memorial Park. A viewing will be held Thursday 10:00-11:00a.m. at the Phillips Ashley Valley Funeral Home.Visitation Thu, Apr 30, 2020 at 10:00 am - 11:00 amVernal Memorial Park
