May Bainbrick

May Afton Bainbrick returned to our loving Heavenly Father on September 22, 2012 at the Uintah Care Center from natural causes. May was born May 5, 1919 to Millard E. and Hazel M. (Taylor) Graham in Rifle, CO. She married Clyde Dalrymple in Rifle, CO and they were blessed with three children.

She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. May was short in stature( at 4'10") but had the strength, courage and heart of a giant. She always had a great sense of humor, even up to her last days.

She is survived by her brother, Clayton Graham of Meeker, CO; sister, Velma Hopper of Vallejo, CA; two daughters, Sharon Crook and Deborah (Steven) Cook all of Vernal, UT; 6 Grandchildren, Bobbi (Chuck) Brunson of Grand Junction, CO; Shari (Ronnie) Plummer of Rangely, CO; Conni (Kelley) Crook of Aurora, CO; Alisa (Jason) Postma of Lapoint, UT; Natalie (Casey) Shelton of Vernal, UT; and Michael Cook of Logan, UT; 16 great grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Larry Dalrymple; three brothers, Emery Graham, Millard Graham, and Kenneth Graham; sisters-in-law, Bonnie Graham and Genevieve Graham. As our mother, grandmother, and friend she will be greatly missed.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, September 26, 2012, at 2:00 p.m. at the Vernal 9th Ward Chapel, 250 N. 200 W. The viewing will be one hour prior to service. Burial will be in the Rangely Cemetery under the direction of Ashley Valley Funeral Home.
