Michael George Martin

Michael George Martin, Age 79, passed away March 31, 2022 at his home in Jensen Utah. Michael was born March, 25, 1943 to William Lester Martin and Arline Kidd Martin in Vernal Utah. Michael enjoyed hunting in the surrounding mountains fishing at Flaming Gorge, East Park, and Matt Warner Reservoir and camping. He was a well known mechanic in the community. Michael never knew a stranger and would always stop whatever he was doing to visit. Michael was a avid reader of Zane Grey Louis Lamour western novels. Michael married Gloria Jean Scrabach June 1,1962, later divorced. Married Darlene Jane Ewell January 6, 1972, later divorced. Michael is survived by two sons. Troy Dee ( Shelley Marie) Martin Laporte, Colorado, and Michael Scott Martin of Oklahoma. A sister, Loraine Martin, a brother , David (DeAnn) Martin, sister-in-law, Louise Martin, and sister in law, Veronica Martin all of Vernal , many neices and nephews. Preceded in death by parents, Lester Martin and Arline Martin Phillips, brothers Max Martin, Richard Martin, and a sister Katherine Martin Sadlier. Per Michael's wishes he will be cremated and a family memorial service will be held at a later time.
