Michele (Gowen) Frederick

Michele Gowen Frederick passed away September 15, 2022 peacefully surrounded with the love of her family. Michele was born on December 29, 1973 to H. Dale Gowen and Janice W. Gowen in Vernal, Utah. Michele was raised in Vernal with her three siblings, where she graduated and started her own family. Michele welcomed her first two children Tyler and KaLee. Michele worked at Halliburton Energy in Vernal, where she met the love of her life, Donnie Frederick. They married on June 20, 2009. Michele and Donnie welcomed their daughter, Brinlei, and from there she enjoyed spending all of her time raising her children. Michele loved being a mom, everything she did was for her three children and Donnie. Michele took the role of being a second mom to her nieces and nephews seriously. She later stepped in to raise her niece, Jordan Gowen. Michele had a love for traveling, she loved the beach and making as many memories as possible with her family away from home. Michele was intelligent, quick-witted, funny, and sarcastic. She left many wondering if she was being serious or joking. Michele was a good judge of character and could always tell when you were hiding something. There is a huge hole left in our hearts, but we know the reunion with her family was one we could have witnessed. Michele is survived by her husband Donnie Frederick, Children Tyler (Branson Buckalew), KaLee and Brinlei, her mother Janice Gowen, siblings Richard (Alisha) Gowen, Nikki (Skyler) Ruud all of Vernal. In-laws Betty and Gary Brewer of Arizona. Nieces and Nephews: Tevin, Kutter, Jordan, Atiya, Keira, Heston, Adilyn, Gerrick; and granddaughter Taelor. She is preceded in death by her dad H. Dale Gowen, brother Russell W. Gowen, grandparents and her three beloved dogs: Angel, Reece, Beta. We will always cherish your words of wisdom, the memories we made and your love. You were one in a million and this life will be less without you. We love you always and forever, until we see each other again. Funeral services will be held Monday September 19, 2022 at 1:00pm at the Phillips Ashley Valley Funeral Home. A visitation for family and friends will be from 11:00am~12:45pm at the mortuary. Interment will be in the Maeser Fairview Cemetery.
