Myra Rebecca (Snow) Hodson

Myra Rebecca (Snow) HodsonMyra Rebecca (Snow) Hodson, passed away on January 19, 2025, at the age of 80. Myra was born on November 1, 1944, to Leila Moon and Woodrow Snow at their home in Jensen, Utah. Myra grew up in Vernal and Jensen. She married Ted Devere Freestone and to that union they brought 2 boys into their home. Myra and Ted later divorced. Later in life she met Dennis Martin Hodson, and they were in Salt Lake City, Utah. They spent many happy years together until his passing in 2004. She loved doing crafts, specially making hot air balloons out of plastic canvas. She loved her dogs and spending time outdoors. She enjoyed baking with her granddaughter. She is survived by her sons, Paul Freestone, and Adam (Shelia) Freestone; sibling, Ron Snow, Norma Snow, Evelyn Hart, Hester Demille, Murt Snow; grandchildren, Gladys Rose (Robby) Cheatham, Wade Freestone, Floyd Devere Freestone, Khrystina Freestone; great-grandchildren, Adohn Freestone, Deston Freestone, Lorielle Freestone, Bailey Cheatham, Landon Cheatham, Liberty Cheatham, and Milani Rosalyn Johnson. She is preceded in death by her husband, Dennis; grandson; her parents, Leila and Woodrow Snow; Teddy Freestone; Siblings, Ray Snow, Milton Snow, Carol Averette; and sister-in-law, Norma Snow. Visitation service for Myra will be held Friday, January 24, 2025 from 6:00pm ~ 8:00pm at the Phillips Ashley Valley Funeral Home. Following the visitation, cremation will take place and a Celebration of Life will be held June 2025 in Jensen, Utah for Myra.
