Norm Dee Symonds

Norman Dee Symonds (Norm) of Farm Creek, UT age 84, passed away on October 27, 2026, in Farm Creek, UT, after a short battle with cancer. He was born February 6, 1942, in Tooele, UT, to Alfred Symonds and Daisy Bates. He married his sweetheart, Clareen Gallagher, on August 18, 1961, in Salt Lake, UT.

Norm enjoyed his family, friends, the outdoors, fishing, cutting wood, growing and cutting hay, road trips, farmers' auctions, and fixing up tractors. After raising his family in West Bountiful, UT, Norm retired from USAF Civil Service in 1993 and spent his time in the country enjoying farm life.

He is survived by his children Scott, Tim, Trish, Michael, Emery, Shannon (Todd Byington), Maranda (James Garner), his twenty-six grandchildren, many great grandchildren and others he claimed as family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Clareen, companion Mary Chivers, brothers Ferris, and Terry (Beef).

Services will be held Saturday, November 7, 2026,

Viewing from 11am-1pm at Ashley Valley Funeral Home 410 North 800 West

Vernal, UT.

Following the viewing at 2:30pm we will meet at the Cemetery

for graveside service.
