Orville Darrell Godfrey

In loving memory of Orville Darrell Godfrey 1960 - 2021. Darrell was born on January 3, 1960 in Emmett, Idaho to Dwight Orville Godfrey and Marion Darlene (Steffen) Godfrey. He passed on August 15, 2021, with his family by his side. He was a son, brother, husband, father, friend, and a proud U.S. Army Veteran. He was preceded in death by his father Dwight Orville Godfrey, mother Marion Darlene Godfrey, older sister Barbara Darlene Mattoon. Darrell was a tough S.O.B. who sadly lost his long battle with cancer, but not without one hell of a fight. To all that know him, you will agree; he was the toughest, and on the occasion, he was downright ornery, but always deeply loved. His greatest joy he found in life was having met the love of his life Connie, and their two children, son Ronald Dwight Godfrey, and daughter Savanah Elizabeth Godfrey. Darrell was a man of many talents. A talented carpenter, a man of the oil field and mines, defended his country, and is a U.S. Veteran, and so much more. Our family superstar who lettered in basketball, you will be missed but never forgotten. It is time to rest now. So, get along and go to that perfect fishing hole and cast your lines.
