Patsy Jean Freestone

Patsy JeanMcKowenFreestone, age 77, of Vernal, wife of the late Roy Freestone, left her loved ones here on earth to join Roy and all her loved ones in Heaven, on Thursday, June 14, 2018. Pat was born on the McKowenHill on September 2, 1940 the13thchild of BurnsMcKowenandIleeneWarrMcKowenin Bennett, Utah. She married Roy Freestone on June 5, 1957. Roy passed away on June 22, 2015. Pat loved the laughter and happiness of life and the center of her universe was her family, who will all miss her terribly. Pat was working to organize and was looking forward to theMcKowenfamily reunion next month...And she is now having the greatest reunion of all times with loved ones who have preceded her in death. She is survived by her precious treasure, her daughter, Tami Freestone; Her grandchildren: Adrian McAdam, Amanda McAdamLauband Matt McAdam; her great grandchildren:Zhalian Laub, RyanLaub,Deliah Patsy LaubandAlyssiaLaub; her sisters, AdaHorrocks, ofNeola,JanielGardner, Cookie Richmond andJoan Hunting, all of Vernal, Veda Tomlinson, of Gusher, and DannyMcKowen, of Roosevelt. She is preceded in death by her husband, Roy, Parents Burns andIleeneWarrMcKowen, brothers and sisters: TedMcKowen, Mary Norton, MillieEtheredge,CleaRichmond, HowardMcKowen, PhilMcKowen,KenMcKowen, Betty JuneMcKowen, and two infant sisters. Pat worked at the Ashley Valley Hospital for a number of years as a nurses aide, providing care and love to patients. That characteristic was part of who Pat was, with compassion and love for people. Pat had an extraordinary sense of humor, her Irish wit was hilarious, she was a true entertainer. Her Irish charm endeared her toall she met. She leaves behind a heartbroken family who have all been blessed by her presence on earth. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at11AMat the Ashley Valley Funeral Home. A viewing for family and friends will be held Tuesday evening from6-8PMand Wednesday 9:45-10:45AMall at the Ashley Valley Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Vernal Memorial Park.
