Phyllis Rae (Morgan) Knupfer

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother Phyllis Rae (Morgan) Knupfer who peacefully departed this life on September 29, 2024, at the age of 80 in Vernal, UT. Phyllis was born on March 3, 1944, to Margaret Louise Zuck and Faye Wesley Morgan in Milwaukee, WI. She married Richard Elliot Knupfer on December 16, 1967 in the Los Angeles LDS Temple, in Los Angeles, CA. Phyllis deeply touched the lives of everyone around her and was a pillar of strength and an inspiration to all who knew her. She enjoyed sewing, crafting, and jewelry making. She was preceded in death by her father and mother; Faye and Margaret Morgan, husband; Richard E. Knupfer. She is survived by her children; Rick and Heidi, her grandchildren; Kadee, Jennifer, Madison, Max, Spencer, and Aramis, as well as her great-grandchildren; Nora, Luca, and Cecilia. We are thankful for the compassionate care she received at the Landmark Care Facility by Director Holly Morton, Dr. LaRhesa Callas, CNA Elsha Binghurst, as well as the support from the Rocky Mountain caregivers. We would also like to extend our gratitude to Denise and Tanja, dear family friends and fellow church members, for the love, care, and compassion they showed our mother over the years. Graveside services for Phyllis will be held Wednesday October 9th at 11:00am in Vernal Memorial Park (1700 South Vernal Ave). Visitation for family and friends will be held that morning from 9:30am ~ 10:30am at the Phillips Ashley Valley Funeral Home.
