Ralph Ewen Anderson Jr

Ralph Ewen Anderson Jr, age 87, long-residing resident of Oak Lawn, IL, passed away peacefully on March 16, 2017 with family at his side. Ralph devoted his life to family, work, and his country. He served the US Army during the Korean War. After marrying the love of his life, Eastra Ann, they raised two children. He designed and helped build their home in Oak Lawn, IL which he resided in for over 50 years. He coached numerous basketball and little league teams for the Oak Lawn Park District and was a member of the Oak Lawn Racquet Club with his wife. He dedicated over 40 years to working as a mechanical engineer for Borg Mechanical and would spend late nights drawing-up blueprints by hand and dining with clients. Ralph is preceded in death by his parents Ralph Sr. and Frances, as well as his wife of 53 years, Eastra. He is survived by his children Crescentia (David) Nolan and John (Becky) Anderson as well as his grandchildren James Anderson and Josephine (Tyrel) Gibson.
