With loving hearts, we announce the passing of Richard Allen Vaughn, who left this world on November 6, 2025, at the tender age of 13. Born on May 19, 2012, in Ogden, Utah, Rich brought joy and light to every life he touched, especially to his cherished parents, Carol and Marcos Vaughn.
Rich was a spirited young man with a passion for music, gaming, and adventure. His love for the outdoors, animals, and time spent with friends and family was evident in everything he did. He had a special fondness for fruit and a tender heart that inspired those around him. Rich found great joy in playing the song "Pompeii" for the VMS Special Olympians, showcasing his caring nature and talent. His fascination with old ships, particularly the Titanic, led to many creative hours spent building scale models in Minecraft, which reflected his imagination and love for exploration.
Rich is lovingly remembered by his family, including his brother, Alexander, and sister, Aaliyah, as well as his grandparents. He leaves behind a legacy of laughter, kindness, and the embrace of friendship.
Though his time with us was far too brief, we invite all who knew and loved Rich to join us in honoring a life filled with joy, adventure, and love. May we celebrate his memory together, reflecting the light he brought into our lives.
