Robert "Bobby" Burris

Robert (Bobby) Dell Burris left this world on July 6,2025 at the age of 48. Born to Barbara Wooley Stavropoulos and Robert Dell Burris on October 30th 1976 in Vernal, Utah . He passed peacefully laying next to Milynn, the lady that has loved him no matter what demons he was fighting she was there.

His life was a very difficult one. His favorite past time was drinking with his friends . He struggled every day of his life. Recently, he got some clarity . He was diagnosed with myotonic dystrophy. Being diagnosed with this disease helped him understand some of his life issues. Bobby also suffered with alcoholism since childhood. This disease was very stressful for him. He has been sober for a year. His family has loved having sober Bobby in our everyday lives.

Bobby was a mechanic by trade, he got his certificate from UBATC here in Vernal, he received his GED. Bobby has a whole bunch of family, most of them in Missouri, Iowa and Oregon.

He is survived by his mother, his best friend and partner in crime Milynn Kinsey (Wylle) the dog. His pride and joy daughter Summer Morris. He has four sisters Shawna Burris Vernal, Shaylee Aviles (Julian) West Valley, Maria Burris and April Boyd (Mike) Missouri. He has many aunts,uncles, cousins and family that was not blood. His very loyal friend Neal Singletary-Heck.

He has waited 6 long years to be with his real true love his granddaughter Laylaith McKenzie Dendler. There are so many loved one's that are there to greet him. His grandparents, dad Bob, his other mother Maria & whole boat load of aunts, uncles and cousins, and many friends, his Grandma Burris was the one person he could talk to without judgment. He loved her so!

Bobby will be cremated and we will have a visitation at his mother's house (2015 S 500 W Vernal) on Friday July 11, 2025 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm. We will have a celebration of his life at a later date.
