Robert Paul Jones

Robert P. Jones was born January 5, 1962 to Samuel and Roberta (Chubback) Jones in Salt Lake City, Utah. He lived in Price, Utah for his teenage years and that is where he met his wife Christine (Moyer). They had one daughter and started their life in Price. Bob started his career in the coal mines at 17 and throughout the years was also part of a mine rescue team. Later they moved to Vernal, Utah where he worked towards becoming an electrician an accomplished that by becoming a Master Electrician. Bob and his wife later lived in Maple Valley, Washington and then spent some time in Alaska. They decided to come back to Vernal and that is where they made their home. Bob was an avid fisherman and won many awards at the fishing tournaments he participated in. He also was a coin collector and was very knowledgeable about coins. He lived life to its fullest.Bob is survived by his daughter JaDee (Tyler) Nielson, grandchildren Jimmy and Jaida Nielson, father Sam Jones, sister Peggy Hicks, brother Scott (Joelle) Jones.He is preceded in death by his wife Christine Jones and his mother Roberta Jones.Services will be held at a later date.
