Robert Earl Lee

Robert Earl "Pap" Lee, age 78, husband of Beverly Lee, passed away Monday, May 11, 2020, surrounded by his family. Bob/Pap was born on October 7, 1941, to Mary Bizwell Lee and James Lee in Chicago, Illinois. Robert Earl Lee married Beverly Joyce Perry on December 30, 1962, in Evanston, Illinois. Bob/Pap enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating and spending time with his friends and neighbors on his property, "The TWO LEES" in Jensen. As a gun and rifle enthusiast, he was a self-declared southern rebel. He was relied upon for his skill in operating heavy construction equipment. Bob was considered handsome, a ladies' man, a wonderful husband and provider, a loving father caring, a role model, an idol in many peoples eyes, a hero, teddy bear, best friend, and the greatest example of a hard-working man. He lived his dream!He is survived by his adoring wife, Beverly of 58 years, six children, 17 grandchildren, and 20 great-grandchildren. Children include: Bob Lee of Vernal, John Kelly (Shaheerah) of San Francisco, California, Lisa Lee Pijanowski (Paul) of Las Vegas, Nevada, Laurie Lee Stevenson (Larry) of Vernal, Lynette Lee Owens of Las Vegas, Nevada, and Jimmy Lee (Sherry) of Vernal. One sister, Peggie Lee Coleman (Sam) of Ft. Worth, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents, James and Mary Lee of Sharon, Tennessee. A Celebration of life will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, May 16, 2020, at their home in Jensen. Services and care entrusted to the Phillips Ashley Valley Funeral Home.
