Rodney Michael Forward

Rodney Michael Forward, age 72, of Vernal, passed away on September 8, 2026, at his home after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born on July 9, 1954, in San Francisco, California, to the late Gertrude and Eddy Forward.

Mike was a resident of Vernal for the past 25 years. He worked for various trucking companies in the area and owned his own company in North Dakota. He loved fishing and boating the myriad lakes of Utah.

He is survived by his sister, Sandra Depucci of Vernal, brother Morris Forward of Salt Lake City, and many cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Harry Forward.

In accordance with Mike's wishes, no memorial service or funeral is planned at this time
