Ronald Duane Hatch

Ronald Duane Hatch, 83, passed away May 3, 2019 at the Harmony Hills Assisted Living facility in Salt Lake City of natural causes. He was born April 16, 1936 in Vernal to Samuel and Leita Chatwin Hatch. Ron is survived by sisters Janet Abplanalp and Venita Arland; son Duane R. Hatch; and grandson Kadin Michael Hatch. Ron proudly served in the 82nd Airborne Division of the Army. Afterwards he studied electrical engineering at the University of Utah. Ron had many diverse jobs and interests, but his passion was ham radios, hunting, fishing and photographing the great outdoors. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at 11AM at the Vernal Memorial Park. Services have been entrusted to the care of the Phillips Ashley Valley Funeral Home.
