Rulon Wade Goodrich (Harley) joined his son on May 20, 2024. Wade was born in Roosevelt, Utah to Rulon Levison and Thelma May (Law) Goodrich on August 9th, 1946. Wade grew up in Vernal and Bonanza, Utah. He attended school in Vernal, Utah. He entered the Navy in October of 1965, and went on to serve in Vietnam, he was honorably discharged October of 1967. He had two children, Jodi (Stacy) Scott of Ft. Duchesne, Utah. Brian Lee (Jennifer) Goodrich of Cheyenne Wyo. Brian passed away in May of 2023. His family in Tridell always surrounded him and included him in everything. Wade worked oil rigs in Wyoming, tended bar, and drove crude truck for Iowa Tank Lines for almost 30 years until retirement. He had a love for Harley Davidson motorcycles, that is where he picked up the nickname "Harley" later as a truck driver. Wade loved all things America and was a proud Vietnam Veteran. Wade retired to Tridell, Utah where he and his dogs enjoyed being outdoors. He loved gardening, taking care of the lawn, and throwing tennis balls. The family would like to thank the VA Clinic in Roosevelt for all their many years of care, and the Roosevelt Villa for making his last year comfortable and taking amazing care of him. He is survived by his daughter, Jodi (Stacy) Scott, his 8 Grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. His sister, Claudine (Steve) Winn of Tridell, Utah, and many nieces, nephews, and their children. He is proceeded in death by his parents Rulon and Thelma, His sister Billie Pattavina, and his son Brian Lee Goodrich. A special thank you to his niece Toni for being his friend, care giver, side kick, and chauffeur. "Keep the rubber side down and the shiny side up!" Memorial service for Wade "Harley" will be held Tuesday, May 28, 2024 at 11:00am at the Phillips Ashley Valley Funeral Home (410 North 800 West). Interment in Vernal Memorial Park with Military Honors by the American Legion Post 11 and The Patriot Guard Riders of Utah. Services under the direction of the Phillips Ashley Valley Funeral Home.
