Ryan Dennis Mott, age 4o, returned home to the arms of his Heavenly Father and his beloved Grandfather Warren Denzil Mott on August 12, 2013.
Ryan was the first child and only son born to Dennis Warren Mott and Linda Harrington Mott. He was born and raised in Vernal where he developed a love for the mountains and a reverence for nature. He attended and graduated from Uintah High School in 1991. After high school, he joined the Utah State Golf Team and was later called to serve a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in the Argentina,Trelew Mission. Ryan loved the people of Argentina and enjoyed the two years he spent teaching the gospel there. Throughout his trials in life, Ryan never lost his testimony. After his release from his mission, he returned to Utah Valley State College where he continued to golf and pursue his education in business.
After attending UVSC, Ryan moved back to Vernal where he worked as a Realtor and later became a Broker-Owner of Coldwell Banker Aspen Brook Realty and served on the Board of Directors and as President of the Uintah Basin Board of Realtors. Ryan was a good person with a kind heart and was loved by all who had the opportunity to know him. He had a great personality and a keen ability to charm others. He loved to cook and BBQ for family and friends and enjoyed bowling, hunting, fishing, and golf.
Ryan's greatest attribute was his love for his family. Throughout his life he treasured the time he spent with them. His three sons were the light of his life and he was so proud of them. He had a love for children and enjoyed the time he spent with his sons, nieces and nephews. He has left an imprint on our hearts and we will never be the same without him.
Ryan is survived by his three sons, Andrew, Brennen, and Tyson Mott, his parents Dennis Warren Mott and Linda Harrington Mott, Grandparents Robert and Norma Harrington and Barbara 'Bobbie Mott' Bagley, sisters Monica Mott, Lynise (Mark) Mason, Briana (Todd) Shuman, and Candace (Brian) Nielson, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his Grandfather Warren Denzil Mott.
