Sandra Lee Westwood

Sandra L. Westwood passed away on February 3, 2026, at the age of 71. Sandra L. Westwood was born on November 25, 1954, to Carol M. Wahlin and Glenn K Hansen in Clear Creek, Utah. Sandra L Westwood married Stephen Ray Westwood on October 28, 1978, in Vernal, Utah.

Sandra L Westwood enjoyed spending time with her children especially all her grandchildren. She loved going to the Church. She fulfilled a L.D.S mission in Sacramento California. She enjoyed arts & craft. She loved camping at spirit lake and enjoyed the Kokanee run. She loved to write in her journal every day. She enjoyed the piano and flute.

She is survived by Stephen Ray Westwood (husband), Charles Glen Westwood (son), Quinn James Westwood (son), Sophie Faith Westwood (daughter). Grandchildren Ryan Roper, Zoey Roper, Dustin Hirschi, Desirai Westwood, Kiera Westwood, Lilly Westwood, Dakota Melo and Khloe Melo. Dave Roper (son-in-law), Alicia Rodriguez (daughter-in-law). Siblings Glen Hansen, Wayne Hansen, Jill Worman, Kalene Gamble and Julie Lynn Morgan.

She is preceded in death by Stephen Bucky Westwood (son), Marcy Shavonne Roper (daughter), Willis Anderson (brother), David Williamson (brother), Robyn Susan Smuin (sister), Glen K Hansen Sr (father) and Carol Williamson (mother).

Funeral services for Sandra (Sandy) Westwood, age 71, of Vernal, will be held Friday, February 13, 2026, at 2:00pm at Ashley Creek Ward Chapel (4080 South 2500 East). A visitation for family and friends will be held Thursday from 6:00-8:00pm at the Phillips Ashley Valley Funeral Home and 12:45-1:45pm at the church.
