Sarah Emaline (Brodbeck) Kress

Sarah Emaline (Brodbeck) Kress, age 77 of Vernal, Utah formerly from Pennsylvania, passed away on October 13, 2024. Sarah was born on October 25, 1946, to Emaline (Schultz) Brodbeck and Jay Brodbeck in York, Pennsylvania. She married Richard Patrick Kress in York, Pennsylvania. To that union they have three children. She enjoyed playing bingo and winning her candy bars. She also loved her grandchildren and spending lots of time with them. She is survived by her daughter; Robin (Dexter) Bassett of Vernal, Utah, sons; Terry (Debra) Kress of York, Pennsylvania, & Lee (Wendy) Kress of York, Pennsylvanian. Her 4 sisters, 2 brothers and 8 grandchildren; Bryan Kress, Amber Apple, Kara Dietrich, Emily Bassett, Destiny Porzio, Tara Kress, Terry Kress Jr., and Stephanie Kress. She is preceded in death by her parents, Jay and Emaline Brodbeck, her beloved husband; Richard Patrick Kress and brother; Ray Brodbeck. Celebration of Life services for Sarah will be held Saturday October 19, 2024, at 2pm at her granddaughter, Amber Kress home in Mount Wolf, Pennsylvania. Interment will be in the Saint Aloysius Cemetery in Littletown, Pennsylvania next to her beloved husband Richard. Services under the direction of the Phillips Ashley Valley Funeral Home.
