Soledad Batoy

Soledad T. Batoy, age 65, died Sunday, February 22, 2015 in Murray, Utah. Soledad was born June 19, 1949 in Tudela, Phillipines to Eusebio P. Tamparong and Enecita P. Lapat. She married Margarito M. Batoy in the Philippines on July 25, 1970.

Soledad liked to go to church on Sundays at the Roosevelt Christian Assembly. She liked yard sales and bought a lot of stuff to send home to her children and grandchildren. Soledad enjoyed singing Karaoke and partied quite often with her friends.

She is survived by her children: Marisol (Bill) Newhart, Beverly Batoy, Methuscel Batoy, Rebecca (Ese) Serino, Margiele (Dexter) Tecson, Margarito Batoy, Jr., and Marlibeth Batoy; and twelve grandchildren.

Soledad was preceded in death by her parents, parents-in-law, husband of 44 years, two sisters and two brothers.

Services were held Saturday, February 28, 2015, 11:00 A.M. at Ashley Valley Funeral Home, 410 North 800 West, Vernal, Utah.
