Stewart Mair

Stewart Mair age 59, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 9, 2013 after a courageous battle with Kidney Disease. He was born on May 23, 1953 in Heber, Utah to Norma Schear and Willis Mair. He grew up in Heber, Utah and graduated from Wasatch High School in 1971. He met and married the love of his life Maxine Marchant on July 12, 1974. Together they had two children Kevin and Mindy. His greatest joy in life was his family. He loved to laugh and he lived life to the fullest.

Stewart retired from the Phosphate mine after 33 years of dedicated service. He enjoyed being outdoors hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed spending time with his family especially with his grandson and best friend Kris.

Stewart is survived by his wife of 39 years Maxine Mair, children: Kevin (Lisa) Mair (Salt Lake City, UT) and Mindy Mair (Vernal, UT), grandson Kristopher Morgan~Mair (Vernal, UT), father Willis Mair (Vernal, UT), sister Rhonda (Brad) Ryan (Wasillia,AK) and brother Rusty (Launie) Mair (Heber, UT).

Stewart is preceded in death by his mother Norma Schear Mair.

Graveside services will be held Friday, May 17, 2013 at 2:30PM at the Vernal Memorial Park (1700 South Vernal Avenue). A visitation will be held Friday 1:00~2:00PM at the Ashley Valley Funeral Home (410 North 800 West, Vernal, Utah).
