Terry J Hadlock

Terry J. Hadlock was born November 10, 1939 in Vernal, Utah to June Birchell Hadlock and Charles Chuck Hadlock. He married Katherine (Jean) Oaks on February 9, 1957 in Vernal, Utah. Terry spent his career working in the local oil fields of the Uintah Basin. Over many years in the industry; he met, influenced and became lifelong friends with people from Redwash, Bluebell, Altamont, Roosevelt and the Vernal area. He enjoyed his time away from work and liked to bowl, fish, camp, hunt and spend time on Flaming Gorge in his boat. There was nothing he enjoyed more that a good ball game. For several years after retirement he spent the winter months snowmobiling with his wife, family and friends. Terry and Jean kept an immaculate yard where more than one wedding, party or event was held over the years. He was a talented man and could do just about anything with his giant hands from woodwork to carpentry, mechanics, painting and holding the little hands of grandchildren that he adored. Terry is preceded in death by his parents, brother Doug, and one grandson Michael Hadlock. He is survived by his wife Jean, children: Terry Lynn (Shanna) Hadlock, Lane (Chris) Hadlock, Todd (Debbie) Hadlock, Holly (Rick) Morton and Stacy Hadlock all of Vernal; and sister Sharon Hacking. Terry and Jean have 15 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, December 10, 2019, at 11:00am at the Phillips Ashley Valley Funeral Home. A visitation for friends and family will be held Monday, evening from 6pm-8pm, and Tuesday from 9:45am-10:45am all at the Phillips Ashley Valley Funeral Home.
