Thomas H. Jensen, 65, of Vernal, UT, passed away on the evening of July 2, 2026 surrounded by the love of family and friends, outside where he loved to be.

Born on May 14, 1961 in Santa Maria, CA, Tom lived a full life marked by kindness, humor and love for those around him. He was known for his feisty spirit, quick wit, and sarcastic sense of humor that brought laughter to countless gatherings.

An outdoorsman at heart, Tom enjoyed hunting, fishing, and golfing throughout his life. He was an avid golfer, but really loved the sport for the serene scenery he was able to enjoy while on the course. He also treasured the many hours spent fishing and creating lasting memories with friends, always eager for the next catch and quick to exclaim, "Fish on!" Family and friends will fondly remember his legendary Santa Maria-style barbecue, which brought people together to enjoy good food, good drinks, and great stories.

He had a way of making ordinary moments memorable through his favorite sayings, including "How'd ya cut ya, burn ya?!", "Blonde to the root," and his favorite excuse, "It's laundry day". These familiar expressions reflected the personality that endeared him to everyone who knew him.

Above all, Tom will be remembered as a loving and devoted uncle, brother, and friend whose generosity, compassion, and sense of humor enriched the lives of many. He was like a second father to his nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephew. His legacy will live on through the memories shared, the traditions he created, and the love he gave so freely.

He is survived by his sister Kathleen Dickey (Brian) of Vernal, UT; brother Timothy Jensen of Santa Maria, CA; nephews Tommy Thompson (Jacque), Matthew Wade (Joyce), Michael Wade; great-nieces Brooke Escobedo (Andrew), Hannah Oaks (Bodey), Elizabeth Thompson, Harold Thompson V; three great-great nieces and two great-great nephews. He also leaves behind many cousins and special friends.

He is preceded in death by his mother Catherine Ann Jensen and his father Thomas H. Jensen Sr.
