Timothy "Scarecrow" Wayne Gunter Sr, age 69 of Vernal, husband to Paula Gunter, passed away on Wednesday, January 14, 2026 at his home.

Funeral services for Scarecrow will be held Tuesday, January 20 at 11:00am with a visitation for family and friends that morning from 9:45am ~ 10:45am all at the Phillips Ashley Valley Funeral Home. Interment in the Rockpoint Cemetery.
