Trena Fae (Wilkins) Baker

Trena Fae (Wilkins) Baker of South Jordan, Utah passed away surrounded by her loved ones on December 22, 2024. Trena was born on May 27, 1959 in Vernal, Utah to Joyce Robbins Wilkins and Clyde Wilkins. Trena married Ronald Lee Baker on March 19, 1982. Ron and Trena were blessed with two children Beau Wesley and Brooke Lee. They began their life together in Vernal and later moved to South Jordan with their two children. A large part of Trena's life was spent working in the beauty industry. She was a skilled cosmetologist and spent 35 plus years perfecting her skill. Many of those years were spent at Joyce's House of Beauty. She worked alongside her mother, Joyce, for 22 years. Trena loved making others feel beautiful and most importantly creating lifelong friendships with her co-workers and clients. She loved all the ladies at the shop! Trena had many hobbies and pastimes, she loved to watch Hallmark movies, sew, craft and loved to decorate her home and display photos and memories. Trena loved purses and always had a nice one with her wherever she went. Ron and Trena enjoyed bowling together and were in a league together for many years. Trena was able to share her love for the beach with her family while on vacations, memories they will all treasure. Trena was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She loved her Savior and enjoyed worshipping with her family. Trena loved to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren, she looked forward to attending all of their school, dance, cheer and sporting events. Trena has earned the award for the best Wife, Mom and Granny! Trena is survived by her husband, Ronald Lee Baker, children; Beau (Jessi) Baker, Brooke (Corbyn) Lyman, grandchildren; Wesley, Kaylee, Bentley and Aubree Baker; Blayklee, Hudson and Cooper Lyman. Sisters; Tracie (Curt) Smuin, Tonja (Rick) Preslar Sisters In Law; Cindy (Danny) Mortensen, Pam (Brett) WIlkins. Many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews that love and will miss her. She is preceded in death by Clyde Wilkins (father), Joyce Robbins (mother), John Wesley Robbins (grandfather), Dora Faye Robbins (grandmother), Aubrey Baker (father-in-law), Mary Baker (mother-in-law). Funeral services will be held Monday, January 6, 2025 at 12:00PM at the Vernal Christian Church. A visitation will be held Sunday evening from 6-8PM at the Phillips Ashley Valley Funeral Home and Monday 10:30-11:30AM at the Ashley Valley Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Vernal Memorial Park.
